Intro To Personal Finance for Artists

My personal finance workshop offers comprehensive guidance on financial literacy, from vocabulary lists to action items for your students. While I was in school I felt at a loss for how to survive once I got into the “real world,” and Intro to Personal Finance for Artists allows students to feel confident in their financial choices as they get ready to enter the ever-chaotic gig economy.

This 75-90 minute workshop covers budgeting, types of savings accounts, creating sustainable money practices, and basic investing concepts, as well as plenty of time and space for questions from students about becoming financially secure in an unstable industry. These workshops have helped many dancers around the country feel more secure in their career decision and feel confident in how to “make it” as an artist.

Artist After Hours

As co-director of Artist After Hours, I am able to build and connect with an incredible network of dancers who are looking to grow professionally and share performance opportunities.

Fordham Deans’ Research Grant

A dance curriculum taught over 4 weeks that encourages young students to develop confidence, collaboration skills, and tools for effective self-expression, to see if there is an actual shift in attitude with the students by the end of the session.
